How to Activate Your Citi Card Online
Step 1: Visit the Citi Card Activation Page
Open your web browser and navigate to Citi's official card activation website. Make sure you're using the correct and secure Citi webpage before entering any personal information.
Step 2: Enter Your Sign-In Credentials
Use the Sign On page to access your Citi account.
- Enter your User ID in the first field.
- Type your Password in the second field.
- If you're using a trusted personal device, you can check Remember User ID for quicker access next time.
- Click the Sign On button to log in securely.
Step 3: Register as a Cardholder
If you don't already have a Citi online account, you'll need to register before you can manage your card online.
- Enter your 16-digit Citi Credit Card Number in the Credit Card Number field.
- Type the 3-digit Security Code (CVV) found on the back of your card.
- Double-check that both details are entered correctly.
- Click Continue to proceed with the registration process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create your User ID, Password, and complete your account setup.
Step 4: Register as a Non-Cardholder
If you're registering as a non-cardholder, you'll need the registration details that Citi sent to your work email.
- Enter your Registration ID in the first field.
- Type your Registration Passcode in the second field.

Step 5: Card Activation Successful

- A "Card Activation Complete" confirmation message will appear on your screen.
